Submitting Abstracts
Abstracts are due by Monday, March 12, 2018. As in previous years, we ask that all speakers submit their abstracts on-line. You will be sent an email copy of the data you submit. Please retain the email confirmation as proof of your submission. You may verify that we have received your submitted abstract by visiting the Uploaded Abstracts link found on the main menu. Note that not all the data included on the submission form is displayed.
Guidelines for Submitting Abstracts
Guidelines for Submitting Abstracts Beginning in 2008, abstracts will be submitted from existing documents on your hard drive.
- This year, the preferred format is LaTeX .tex files. Just include three paragraphs: one for the title, one for the list of authors and affiliations, and one for the abstract.
- If .tex is not possible, we also accept plain text .txt or Word .doc or .docx files.
- The best abstracts are short and to the point. They should not be longer than one or two very short paragraphs. Mathematical symbols can be displayed in all the above formats except the plain text. Pictures and diagrams should be avoided in the abstracts.
